Industrial Postgraduate Scholarships Program
An unlimited number of applications from masters or doctoral students can be submitted by RRU for the NSERC Industrial Postgraduate Scholarship program. The value of the award is $15,000 per year for up to three years plus a minimum contribution from a sponsoring organization of $6,000 per year.
This scholarship support is for a minimum of 12 months (in exceptional circumstances only) up to a maximum of 24 months and must be held during the first three years of graduate study.
Application deadline: application must be approved before the final 12 months of graduate study.
A complete application consists of:
- Cover letter from Office of Research
- Form 200
- Outline of Proposed Research
- Contributions and Statement
- Official transcripts
- Letter from university supervisor
- IPS Agreement

This letter will be drafted for each candidate once application and supporting documentation are received by the Office of Research.
Select On-Line Services to log on to the NSERC electronic application. Form 200 is to be completed electronically, printed, signed, and submitted with supporting documentation to RRU's Office of Research.

Order official transcripts from previous post-secondar institutions attended and have them sent directly to the Office of Research (attn: Gwen Campden).
RRU's transcript will be automatically supplied. Please do not order one from the Registrar's Office.

- Print single sided
- Application form and attachments are to be completed electronically. No handwritten applications will be accepted
- Supporting documentation may be submitted separately from application form and mailed directly to the Office of Research.
