WestVac 2012
Welcome to the WestVac 2012 Conference hosted by Royal Roads University.

Location: Inn at Laurel Point, Victoria, BC
As in past years, WestVac began with a welcome on Wednesday evening. Sessions were held Thursday, with dinner that evening in Hatley Castle at Royal Roads University.
We had an exciting line-up for WestVac this year including: a presentation from Deloitte on their report Making the grade 2011 – A Study of the top 10 issues facing higher education institutions; discussions regarding Aboriginal demographics, research centres and institutes; a discussion with the President of the Canadian Council on Learning regarding the Council’s recent report What is the future of learning in Canada?; opportunity for dialogue with AUCC representatives; a round table exchange; and a seminar on dealing with a diverse and intergenerational workforce.
