Summary:
In 2014, the conference ventures to Vancouver, Canada, home to a broad range of cultures that have brought with them vibrant and distinct belief systems and principles, which shape Vancouver's social and economic systems.

The International Conference on Interdisciplinary Social Sciences examines the nature of disciplinary practices, and the interdisciplinary practices that arise in the context of 'real world' applications. It also interrogates what constitutes 'science' in a social context, and the connections between the social and other sciences. The focus of papers ranges from the finely grained and empirical(research practices and results exemplifying one or more disciplines), to wide-ranging multi-disciplinary and transdisciplinary practices, to perspectives on knowledge and method.

We are inviting proposals for paper presentations, workshops/interactive sessions, posters/exhibits, or colloquia.
