The overall goal of the project is to organize and host a workshop to kickstart an international collaborative research project designed to provide evidence of impact of action research projects completed by leaders (in organizations or community) in the Asia and Pacific Rim region. The workshop will facilitate scholarly exchange on impact evaluation methods and action research. Evaluation of impact is perceived in terms of achievement of espousals of intent/purpose (particularly with respect to change/improvement), and in particular determining whether there is an espousal and practical gap.
